Fantastic, March 2, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Nirve Switchblade Bicycle Grips (Misc.) The handlebar grips look absolutely great and are very comfortable to use. I bought them to put on my beach cruiser, and I also got the matching Nirve Switchblade seat. I really like the way it looks like it's been hand tooled. The design looks like it's almost burned into the leather material. The chrome ends add a perfect finish to the overall product.
I think they look absolutely fantastic on the bike. The end caps screw into the inside of the handlebars to lock themselves in place, so there's no risk of the bar somehow ripping through the end of the grip.
Overall, a great product that is a perfect set of grips for a custom beach cruiser, or any cruiser for that matter!!

You will have to put something on the grips before putting them on your bars or you will be struggling to get them on. I have some silicone spray in the garage and used just a little bit of it and they slide on the bars a lot easier. I wiped the excess off and put on the endcaps. They do not move at all now and I hope I never have to try and take them off or they will probably have to be cut off.
