Much better than the junky training wheels that come with most BMX's. Definitely very sturdy; I can ride this bike myself and not fall over and I'm 6 feet tall!

I feel much safer that my kid is riding on these than regular training wheels.

These wheels are great. We had a bike shop install them, but we probably could have done it ourselves as well. Those little wheels you get with most bikes don't support the weight of an 8 year old, and it is too easy to fall over. Now, I feel that the bike is safe. I would strongly recommend these to anyone who is concerned about stability and safe riding.
