Definately worth the money, November 28, 2009 By This review is from: Aosom Bicycle Bike Cargo Trailer-red and Black (Misc.) For the money this is a good little trailer. Just got back after loading it down pretty good at the grocery store and it did exactly what it was designed to do.
Assembly was easy and the only tool needed is supplied, but herein lie the first 2 faults i find in it. The wheels attach to the axle with spring clips, which u spread with supplied pliers to put on the axle. I have always hated these things and if you ever attempt this, be careful and gentle when spreading those clips as they are easily messed up if you over do it. Everything else goes together with simple pins, which is problem 2, security is a nightmare. There no real way you can lock this thing up and secure it without someone being able to steal all or part of it. If your in a crime area i suggest you drill a hole in it to attach a cable and lock, or fashion something up.
It almost got dark before I got home and herein lies another thing I think needs addressing. Each wheel has 2 reflectors... Read more

Great trailer, October 28, 2009 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Aosom Bicycle Bike Cargo Trailer-red and Black (Misc.) I am really impressed with this trailer. I bought it about a month ago for work and have been using it every day. I usually load about 90 lb, but it can take over 180 or so. It's relatively easy to pull so it's suitable for women too. A friend of mine put it together for me, but he assures me that it's very simple to do.
Also everything is reinforced, nothing is made out of plastic and it's very easy to fold for flat storage. No need for any complicated tools, you just pull the pins out and you are all set. The price is great and the best thing? It looks really cool.

I still have this trailer. Been using it almost every day for almost two years around 3 miles per day, pulling about 100lb. In all that time changed tires once and had to change the axle couple of times. That's all.

Okay, after researching bike cargo trailers and having sticker shock at what $200 or $300 would buy (and no shipping either) I decided to take my chances on this product. It arrived quickly by FedEx and was easily put together. The horseshoe thingy just needed coaxing onto the top of the axle and then slid down by hand pressure only. If you try to affix it down near the bottom of the axle you will fail miserably as my adult son did. I did both the horseshoe thingys doing it my way first time out from the top. And yes, he was embarassed that his mom did better at that then he did. Start at the top and voila you're attached. Seeing what other folks had to say about the tires and tubes I went ahead and preordered some great Kendra BMX tires and thorn resistant inner tubes to totally redo these tires. I don't think the original tires would do very well repelling thorns, sharp stones, etc. with the open design so I went ahead and ordered the thorn resistant tubes as well. I would... Read more
